And Mercury goes Retrograde again!!!!!!!!

This is the 3rd and last time of Mercury Retrograde motion this year. Next one will be on the 11th of January 2009.

What we call a Retrograde motion of a planet is simply when, as seen from Earth, it appears to be moving backwards through the zodiac. According to modern science, this traditional concept arises in the illusory planetary motion created by the orbital rotation of the earth with relation to other planets in our solar system. Planets are never actually retrograde or stationary, they just seem that way due to this cosmic event.

This time Mercury will be going backwards as from Wednesday the 24th of September 2008, at 7.18 UT , at 22º Libra 49′  and it will conclude on October 15th, at 7º Libra 37′.

However, the shadow period of this event, started on September 3rd and it will extend to October 31st.

During this time communications tend to go crazy. We loose our mobile, the internet doesn’t work, appointments get postponed, people don’t answer their phone, we may find old friends through the net, documents get lost, the signing of contracts get complicated, letters through the traditional post never arrive. In short, chaos spreads.

But these are the negative effects of this apparent Retrograde Motion of Mercury. Yet, there are always positive effects as well.

Sometimes, due to the delay in signing a contract, we find a better deal. Other times, due to having lost our mobile, we find an old one with the number of someone we though we had lost contact with. Re-thinking a situation may help us see our position in a better light. so, be prepared and don’t get swamped only in the negative, and try to find a positive outlet to an apparent dreadful situation.

Make the most of it!

Yet, if you have any of the above situations planed for this period of time, make sure you read all the small writing and think things through.
